In order to travel to certain destinations, local authorities at your destination may require proof that your pet is free of disease, up to date on certain vaccinations, and is healthy enough to travel.
You can schedule an appointment with one of our veterinary experts for a health examination so that we can ensure the necessary health and travel requirements are met. At this appointment, we’ll follow all industry guidelines and will be legally obligated to approve or decline a travel certificate based on what we find. If your pet doesn’t currently meet the requirements, we’ll let you know how to get them there.
For this reason, it’s important to schedule this appointment well in advance of your trip. If your travel authorization for your pet is declined, you want to have enough time to get them up to date in order to pass and receive their authorization.
