Our hospital policies at Cainhoy Veterinary Hospital are all designed with a common goal - to make the experience at our hospital as straightforward, stress-free and safe as possible for owners and their pets.
Appointment Policy
We generally request that appointments be made in advance to ensure that you’ll be able to have your pet cared for in a timely manner. Please make an appointment with us by clicking here or calling our office directly.
The exception to our appointment policy is in the case of emergencies, in which case no appointment is necessary. That said, please do your best to call us ahead of time when you’re bringing your pet in for emergency care. This will help ensure that we’re as ready as possible to receive and treat your pet when you arrive.
Arrival/Waiting Room Policy
To keep pets and owners safe and comfortable, we require all pets to be either leashed or kept in carriers while in the waiting room. Please be kind and considerate when interacting with other pets and their owners, and use good judgment to ensure a positive experience for everyone.
Payment Methods
Payment is required at the time that veterinary services are rendered or products are purchased. We accept all major credit cards as well as cash or check when paying for services rendered. We also accept CareCredit® when paying for services or purchases.
Prescription Refills
Prescriptions can be refilled by emailing us at info@cainhoyvet.com, calling us at the office during regular business hours, or leaving a voicemail after hours on our refill request line. Please allow up to 24-48 hours for prescription refills. This may occur if there are no more refills available on your pet's medication and the doctor has to approve additional refills.
Prescription Diets
