Curbside and In-Person Appointment Options
The health and safety of our patients, clients, and staff are our top priority at Cainhoy Veterinary Hospital. To accommodate your appointment type preference, we have the following appointment guidelines established.
Please note: If you or anyone in your household has been diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 14 days, we ask that you reschedule your appointment at least 14 days after the positive diagnosis. If you, or a member of your household, has been in direct contact with a confirmed positive COVID-19 case within the last 10 days, we kindly ask that you opt for the curbside option for the safety of our hospital staff.
Curbside service is an option for appointments, pick-ups, drop-offs, and medication/food refills. We ask that you follow these guidelines if this option is preferred or recommended:
We ask that dogs be on a leash and cats be in a carrier.
Upon arrival, please give us a call at 843.971.6200 and remain in your vehicle.
A member of our staff will check you in for your appointment or process the prescription refills requested.
A technician will call you to obtain a thorough history. A member of our staff will then collect your pet from your vehicle and escort them into the hospital for their appointment.
A Doctor or staff member will call shortly thereafter to discuss the exam findings and the next step in the curbside appointment process.
In-Person appointments are an option for appointments, pick-ups, drop-offs, and medication/food refills. We ask that you follow the following protocols:
Upon arrival, please give us a call at 843.971.6200. A member of our staff will check you in for your appointment. They will then instruct you to either come inside or will call you back when it is appropriate to enter the building as we are limiting the number of people in our lobby at one time.
No more than 2 people are allowed per appointment.
We ask that only 1 person enter the hospital if it is for pick-up, drop-off, medication, and/or food refills.
A face mask is required and must cover your nose and mouth.
Upon entering the hospital, you will be asked to immediately sanitize your hands and your temperature will be taken.
We require that you practice social distancing with other visitors and staff within the hospital.
We are determined to ensure the safety of all. Rest assured, we are taking additional measures to sanitize our hospital between appointments. We appreciate your understanding and support. Stay safe.
